¡Hola!

My name is Diana.

I am a graphic designer specialized in Interactive Art Direction and Interaction Design. My work is a lot about revealing opportunities for people to interact with messages and ideas in clever, active and emotionally engaging ways. I look to involve technology as invisibly as possible in my projects, just as much as handmade craft, a dialogue that often results in surprising experiences of installations and objects. I think that being able to tap into curiosity and awe can go a long way in communication.

And I love to write and talk about this and everything I learn from design, which I call design stories. Follow along.

About me

2026 marks my 18th year in design. By now, it feels second nature, a way of thinking and doing I cannot escape. I have been involved in over 300 projects in realms as advertising, corporate communication, branding and marketing, to public space, performing arts, education and social innovation, with clients that range from private organizations to NGOs to government institutions to artists.

Most of my work has been done through my interaction design studio, Pulse. I lead our interdisciplinary projects and team. Pulse has been celebrated for its daring and innovative works and it has given me some of my most joyous and toughest moments. Most recently, I have been involved in research and consultancy, which I enjoy. Also recently, I co founded a cooperative for education and innovation, and I am involved in projects with innovation hubs around the country.

Some people see me as a producer. They are kind of right. I naturally became one while being so interested in that all the details from my designs would come alive as imagined or better. So now, sometimes I also work on executive production.

Being an entrepreneur and a business woman slash artist has shaped me in a strange way where I care about the spreadsheet as much as the craft. That’s me: a human enjoying art, crafts, technology, emotion, numbers, research, art direction, creativity, communication, my dogs and public speaking about it all.
Follow along my Design Stories
